Experience the most beautiful parts of Sri Lanka on this 12-day tour – from majestic rock fortresses and centuries-old temples to picturesque tea plantations and wild national parks. The tour concludes with relaxing days on the stunning beaches of the south coast.

Day 1: Negombo Sigiriya

Welcome to Sri Lanka!

After your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will travel directly to Sigiriya, where you will have time to recover from your journey, explore the surrounding area at your leisure and gather your first impressions of this fascinating country.

Day 2: Sigiriya

Today, you'll discover the ancient royal city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of historic temples, palace complexes, and impressive statues. In the afternoon, you'll go on a safari in Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Eco National Park. Here, you'll experience Sri Lanka's fascinating wildlife up close—from large herds of elephants to exotic birds in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Sigiriya Kandy

Early in the morning, you'll climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock. From the top, you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the plains and lush forests. Along the way, you'll visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple with its impressive Buddha statues and colorful murals. In Kandy, you'll visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, a lush garden filled with exotic plants, orchids, and majestic palm trees.

Day 4: Kandy Nuwara Eliya

In the morning, you'll visit the famous Temple of the Tooth and explore Kandy's lively market. Afterwards, continue to Nuwara Eliya, passing breathtaking waterfalls like St. Clair's Falls, sprawling tea plantations, and the informative Tea Museum. In the evening, enjoy the charming atmosphere of "Little England" with its colonial flair.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya Ella

At lunchtime, you will travel by train through tea plantations, valleys and past waterfalls to Ella, a charming mountain town.

After your arrival, you will take a short hike to Little Adam's Peak, which leads through green hills and plantations and is rewarded with a magnificent panorama.

Day 6: Ella

Today's itinerary includes a hike to Ella Rock. From the summit, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding tea plantations, valleys, and mountain ranges. In the afternoon, you can pamper yourself with a traditional Ayurvedic massage and then explore Ella's charming cafés and restaurants.

Day 7: Ella – Tissamaharama

After a relaxing morning, you continue to Tissamaharama. A stop at the picturesque Ravana Waterfall is worthwhile. In Tissamaharama, you'll explore the idyllic Tissa Wewa Lake with its ancient irrigation systems, as well as the impressive Tissa Dagoba and temple complex, which offer fascinating insights into local culture and history.

Day 8: Tissamaharama Tangalle

Your safari in Yala National Park begins early in the morning. Here, you can observe leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of exotic birds in the wild. Afterwards, you continue to Tangalle, where you can marvel at the impressive Hummanaya Blwo Hole and beautiful beaches like Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach invite you to swim, relax, and enjoy yourself.

Day 9: Tangalle Mirissa

The next morning, you'll travel on to Mirissa, an idyllic coastal town in southern Sri Lanka. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to swim with sea turtles at a nearby beach. Afterwards, you'll visit the southernmost point of Sri Lanka, with its striking lighthouse and spectacular views of the ocean.

Once you arrive in Mirissa, you can relax on the beach, enjoy the sea and explore the surrounding area on your own.

Day 10: Mirissa Hikkaduwa

A highlight of your trip: whale watching in the morning – an unforgettable experience where you can observe these majestic marine mammals in their natural habitat. The rest of the day is at your leisure to swim, snorkel, or simply relax on the beach.

Day 11: Hikkaduwa  

You continue to Hikkaduwa, stopping at the historic Galle Fort, a fascinating example of colonial architecture. En route, you'll visit a turtle breeding center. In Hikkaduwa, you'll have time to explore the surrounding area or relax on the beach.

Day 12: Hikkaduwa Negombo

Today it's time to say goodbye. You'll take a leisurely drive along the coast back to the airport, where your impressive tour of Sri Lanka ends.
